Meet our Midwives
Sarah Tooke
REGISTERED NURSE, MIDWIFE & CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR
Sarah is a registered nurse and midwife and infant massage instructor and in addition to her work as a birth suite and postnatal midwife she has designed and run antenatal classes for both a leading Sydney private hospital and privately.
Throughout her various roles, the consistent theme has been a passion for providing the best possible education and support for expectant and new parents. She strives to continuously improve the programs and is committed to the provision of high-quality clinical care.
All the antenatal education programs have been designed by Sarah. You can meet her facilitating some of the group workshops, in your home for private antenatal education or inside one of her online programs.
Susie Brew
REGISTERED NURSE, MIDWIFE & CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR
Susie has spent most of her career working in midwifery and with new families. She has worked at a leading Sydney private hospital in the birth suite for nearly 20 years. She has also facilitated the antenatal and other classes at the Mater for many years.
Susie is passionate about educating expectant parents about everything there is to know about childbirth & parenting with a focus on non-biased and up to date information. She loves helping new parents become confident in their ability to effectively and gently care for their children. You can meet Susie as one of our antenatal educators at the group workshops or in home for postnatal support services.
Michelle Penn
MIDWIFE, CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR & CHILD AND FAMILY HEALTH NURSE
Michelle is a registered nurse and midwife, as well as a child and family health nurse. She has worked in a leading Sydney private hospital with women, babies and families for nearly 20 years.
Over the last 14 years Michelle has worked as a midwife as well as facilitating antenatal education programs and infant massage sessions for parents and parents to be. She is passionate about education and empowering couples as they explore the birthing process and consider what will work for them. Michelle also loves working with families as they explore what life will be like with a new baby, and supporting them as they move into this new chapter of life.

Pip Guest
MIDWIFE AND NEWBORN SPECIALIST
Pip is a registered nurse and midwife and has worked on the postnatal ward of a leading Sydney private hospital for 20years. She has a deep evidence based understanding of the postnatal period and newborns, lactation, and sleep and settling strategies in the fourth trimester.
You can meet her at the group childbirth & parenting workshops where she supports Sarah in providing expectant parents with a holistic educational experience. She is a passionate advocate of the need for postnatal planning and parenting in the first 12 weeks. Pip’s input about these topics gives insightful perspective to the parenting journey.
