Sarah and her team of Registered Midwives have worked extensively in all areas of hospital maternity services including birth suite, postnatal, special care nursery, antenatal education, infant massage & emotional wellbeing screening.
Small Groups are led by two highly experienced midwives. The workshop will empower you with everything you need to know about birth & parenting in a streamlined one day format.
These workshops are perfect if you want a face-to-face antenatal class and the benefits of a group dynamic. Workshops are held at Papaya Clinic in Newtown. Small group sizes ensure we offer a nurturing and personalised environment your antenatal education. Our workshops are highly recommended by leading obstetricians and hospitals. We understand everyone has a different journey to parenthood. We offer valuable insights and guidance that extend beyond the basics, supporting you through the significant changes that come with having a baby.

What we cover in the Workshop
Pregnancy & Birth
- Warning signs during pregnancy
- Signs and stages of labour and when to go to hospital
- Hormones involves in labour and how labour begins

Workshop structure
Classes run on a Sunday from 9am to 5pm in Newtown, Sydney.
Small group sizes ensure an intimate environment, easy access to experts and the ability to meet other expectant parents.
The Workshop condenses all the essential information on Birth and Parenting into one streamlined Sunday, with regular breaks to eat,
mingle with other parents and ask questions.
Inclusions
The $650 per couple cost includes the full-day workshop led by two highly qualified midwives as well as a range of handouts, checklists and guides for later use.
Lunch, morning and afternoon tea and refreshments will be provided.
You'll also get 12 months access to Sarah's online Childbirth & Parenting program, allowing you to access bite-size modules to revisit what you have learnt on the day though a premium platform.
This also gives you ongoing access to live Q&A calls with Sarah if you have any ongoing questions while pregnant or with your newborn.
Your midwives
The course is designed by Sarah Tooke, an award-winning midwife with over 15 years experience and 10 of those spent educating thousands of couples in birth and parenting at The Mater Hospital, North Sydney.
Sarah is joined by a team of experienced fellow midwives with over 20 years combined experience to ensure you receive the latest evidenced based education to prepare you for your upcoming birth and parenting journey. Each workshop will be facilitated by 2 midwives to ensure ample opportunity to ask questions.
